What: The 2011 Accounting and Finance Career Fair is designed to allow candidates to learn about various opportunities available in the accounting and finance industries.

Is the event free? Yes.
Can I cancel my reservation? Yes, we will keep you posted of other events.
Can I switch breakout sessions? We will seat everyone who registered in the workshop first. If there is room, you are welcome to join. Please note that some student also singed up for break-out sessions during the event.
Can I still participate in a workshop even if I didn’t sign up? We will seat everyone who registered in the workshop first. If there is room, you are welcome to join.
Is it okay if I don’t get there until after 8pm? Yes, but the event will be crowded so we recommend getting there as early as possible to make the most of the time with recruiters.
General Tips for Meet the Firms
- Bring enough copies of your resume to pass out to each firm as the opportunity arises.
- Remember to make eye contact, be confident in your aptitude and relax!
- Take your time; do not rush in and out of the room.
- Stop by the Becker table for tips and to get comfortable with your surrounding.
Dress for Success – Women
- Business suit - preferable in dark color (black, grey, blue, brown)
- Knee length skirts- no shorter
- Appropriate hosiery if wearing a skirt, such as nylons
- Closed toe shoes
- No dangly earrings
