John Lord

John Lord, CPA, Regional Lead Faculty

For over 15 years, John’s expertise on the exam, commitment to his students, and real world experience has made him one of the top instructors nation-wide. John is also Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University and has served as an auditor for the Government Accountability Office for over 22 years. John is a graduate of Cal State East Bay in Hayward, CA and a former Becker student. He also holds an active CPA license.
Dan Caughey

Dan Caughey, CPA, MBA, MS

Dan has more than 30 years experience in financial management, accounting, and tax support including 21 years in federal treasury operations. He currently runs a private practice specializing in tax and accounting. Dan also taught financial management, accounting survey and math in Boston University’s MBA program. He earned his MBA from Western New England College and a master’s in tax from Golden Gate University.
Ed Cordisco

Ed Cordisco, CPA, MBA

Ed’s professional experience includes tenures at Price Waterhouse & Co, Gulf Oil Corporation, and Chevron Corporation. He also served as a regional Manager for Becker in the Pacific Northwest. Currently Ed is a financial consultant. He is also a former student of Becker and has taught for Becker in Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Houston, and San Francisco (the latter starting in 1985).
Scott Martin

Scott Martin, JD, MS

Scott is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Upon completion of his service in the Marines he went on to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, graduating summa cum laude, and a Masters of Science in Accounting, graduating with honors, from Strayer University in Washington D.C. In addition, he holds a Juris Doctor from Monterey College of Law. Scott passed the California bar exam in February 2009 and is finalizing the issuance of his license to practice law.

John Diest, JD, MBA, MA

John Diest, JD, MBA, MA: is a Deputy Attorney General in the California Department of Justice. Before becoming a lawyer, John worked for 6 years in international banking, including two years in the Paris branch of the First National Bank of Chicago. John's degrees are from the University of Illinois (AB), University of Chicago (MBA/MA), and UCLA (JD).
