Updated 2011 Becker Course Materials for 2010 Students
If your organization has CPA candidates that are taking Becker’s CPA Exam Review but won’t have passed all four parts of the exam by the end of 2010, we have good news. They can request the 2011 version for those parts they have not yet passed as of January 1, 2011, as long as they have time remaining on their Becker software license.
Becker has implemented a program (as follows) to assist students who have 2010 course material but have not passed all four parts in 2010.
Becker's CPA Exam Review Course
Your staff will be able to request the 2011 Self-Study course for those parts they have ordered but have not passed, as long as they have time remaining on their Becker software license which extends18 months from initial installation. Starting in November, 2011 software requests can be made on a special web form that will be posted on the Becker website (www.becker.com/2011). The web form will be posted by November 12th.
The Self-Study course software will be shipped at no charge. Your staff will have the option to receive the 2011 software with or without a hardcopy version of the 2011 textbook. Regardless of the option chosen, your staff will have access to the electronic version of our textbook (e-book). If the hardcopy version is requested, a $20 shipping and handling fee will be assessed to the individual requesting the materials for each part requested. Request for updated materials must be made by March 31, 2011. For more detail on the 2011 CPA Exam changes, visit www.becker.com/2011.
Please note: Requesting the 2011 CPA Exam Review Course under this policy will not extend the time remaining on the Becker software license relating to the purchase and activation of your 2010 software. However, if the 2011 CPA Exam Review course is requested under our "Becker Promise" policy, a new 18 month license will be extended.
Becker Final Review Product
If your staff purchased Becker’s 2010 Final Review product they will be able to request the 2011 Final Review self-study product for those parts previously purchased but not yet passed as of January 1, 2011, as long as they have time remaining on their Becker Final Review software license. Requesting the 2011 Final Review product under this policy will not extend the time remaining on their Becker software license relating to the purchase and activation of your 2010 Final Review software. A $20 shipping and handling fee will be assessed to the individual requesting the materials for each part requested. Request for updated materials must be made by March 31, 2011.
Becker Flashcards
If your staff purchased/received Becker Flashcards (mobile or hardcopy) in 2010 but did not pass all 4 parts of the exam in 2010, Becker will provide them with 2011 Flashcards. They will be able to request, at no cost, the 2011 version of the Flashcards for those parts not passed as of January 1, 2011. We will only provide hardcopy Flashcards for those parts requested.
