The USMLE Step 2 CK (Clinical Knowledge) exam tests your understanding of clinical knowledge and the basic patient-centered skills that provide the foundation for the practice of medicine.1
- The one-day exam is computer-based and scheduled by appointment through Prometric testing centers.
- The 9-hour testing session is divided into 8 one-hour blocks, for a total of eight hours of testing time and a one-hour break.
- The exam consists of no more than 355 multiple-choice questions. The exact number of questions will vary, but will not exceed 45 questions per block.
- The minimum passing score for USMLE Step 2 CK is 209.
