Comparative Advantage

When production possibility curves are drawn with the same products on the same axes, the country whose production possibility curve has the steepest slope has the comparative advantage in the product on the vertical axis and the other country has the comparative advantage in the product on the horizontal axis. Countries should concentrate on producing those products in which they have the comparative advantage. See also production possibilities curve.
