- Completion of a bachelor's degree or higher
- A qualifying professional auditing designation
- 5+ years of internal audit experience
- Be a student in your final year of university
Once enrolled in the CIA program, you may register for the CIA Exam through The IIA’s website whenever you’re ready.
CIA Exam dates are available throughout the year on a rolling schedule. You can take the exam parts in any order you like. For example, you can start with Part 2, then take Part 1, and finally, Part 3. Or 1, 2, and then 3, or any other order that you think will bring you the most success.
Keep in mind that you have three years after enrollment in the CIA program to pass all three CIA Exam Parts.
Becker wants you to be confident and successful on exam day, and our exam review outlines a program that will equip you to be so. With years and years of student data, we’ve established benchmarks for success that we call Exam Day ReadySM.
To become Exam Day ReadySM in an exam part, students must make the following progress per exam part:
- Watched at least 80% of lectures
- Correctly answered at least 80% of practice questions
- Score at least 50% on both simulated exams
***Until concept lecture videos are released, Exam Day ReadySM will only be measured on practice questions and simulated exams.
