Demand Flow

Demand flow is a management philosophy or business strategy that develops business processes in response to customer demand. (Demand pull is a similar concept.) At its most sophisticated level, demand flow uses quantitative techniques that connect processes in a flow and links them to daily changes in demand. Demand flow is the opposite of a schedule-push philosophy that would use sales forecasts to determine a production schedule.
