Enterprise Risk Management Integrated Framework

The COSO publication Enterprise Risk Management�Integrated Framework (ERM) builds upon the COSO publication Internal Control�Integrated Framework to provide a more extensive evaluation of the broader concept of enterprise risk management. ERM identifies four categories of business objectives including strategic operational, reporting and compliance and expands the five components in the Internal Control framework to include three additional components (objective setting, event identification and risk response) to support the risk assessment components of the framework and expand on the framework to embrace operations.
