Promoter

A promoter is an individual who forms a corporation. The promoter is responsible for the procurement of commitments for capital that will be used by the corporation after formation. The promoter enters into contracts with third parties who are interested in becoming shareholders and might also enter into contracts for goods or services to be provided to the corporation once it is formed.
