  1. Quality embraces a wide variety of concepts, including the perceived quality of products to consumers that result from enhanced features (a luxury vs. an economy car) or the engineering or manufacturing definitions of quality that pertain to conformance of goods to manufacturing specifications within tolerable limits. The extent to which a product or service conforms to specifications or provides customers the characteristics that were promised.
