Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Supply chain management is the integration of business processes from the customer to the original supplier and includes purchasing, materials handling, production planning and control, logistics and warehousing, inventory control, and product distribution and delivery. SCM systems may perform some or all of these functions. See also ERP and CRM.
