  1. Trade credit is the use of credit from suppliers to finance current operations. It includes accounts payable, accrued expenses (expenses that have not become accounts payable yet), notes payable (accounts payable that have been formalized in notes), and trade acceptances. Buying goods and services on account; a form of short-term financing.
