Voluntary Health and Welfare Organizations

Voluntary health and welfare organizations include organizations for the blind, mental health associations, the Salvation Army, and a variety of other not-for-profit organizations. Organizations that are funded primarily by contributions and that provide services which are not funded to any great degree by any other source and which benefit community health or welfare are voluntary health and welfare organizations.
