After your purchase you will register for and access the live and on demand Deep Dive Workshops session directly from your CPA Exam Review course. Login to your account at cpa.becker.com. From there click on the Register for Class card on the right side of the home screen or the camera icon in the lefthand navigation bar. From there you can click on Upcoming and find the Deep Dive Workshops session you’d like to register for.

How does Deep Dive Workshops fit in with the overall Becker CPA Exam Review course materials?

Deep Dive Workshops are intended to complement and not replace your main course self study or LiveOnline exam review classes. These sessions will go deeper than the textbook and lecture video or LiveOnline class may to cover approximately five key exam concepts. We recommend doing the main course content including lecture videos, reading the textbook, completing MCQS, mini exams and flashcards to help identify the areas you need to dive deeper in. Those areas that aren’t clicking are perfect to spend time in the live or on demand Deep Dive Workshops sessions. These sessions can also be useful after one or both simulated exams in your course after you see the areas you may be weaker and need further review.

How are the live Deep Dive Workshops different than LiveOnline CPA Exam Review classes?

The LiveOnline classes are Becker’s live, virtual CPA classes covering all of the course material in a given exam section. Hosted on Zoom, a Becker expert CPA instructor teaches the specific exam section unit materials. Students are able to ask questions and get answers from the instructor. LiveOnline may be great for students who like the classroom-like learning experience or those who like the idea of really scheduling out their study and staying accountable to making progress with the fixed schedule provided by these classes.
Deep Dive Workshops on the other hand, dive deeper into some of the key concept areas of each exam section covering the topic in new ways, providing new and even more examples to help students better understand and master some of the most critical exam concepts. Students that attend live will also be able to ask questions and receive answers in real-time. Deep Dives are especially useful for students struggling or those who like extra practice and live instruction.

What concepts are covered in each exam’s Deep Dive Workshop?

When will Deep Dives happen?

In 2025, we anticipate running live Deep Dive Workshops for each exam section once per year. Students will have immediate access to the most recent Deep Dive Workshops recording of each individual session for exam section upon purchase. The on demand versions will update as the live sessions occur and students will continue to have access to the most recent version.

In 2025, ISC Deep Dive live sessions will run from March 4-18, FAR Deep Dives sessions will run from April 17-May 1, TCP sessions will run from May 8-22, BAR sessions will run from June 10-24, REG sessions will run from July 10-24, and AUD workshops will have live classes from July 29-August 12.

Do I have to attend live?

No. You will always have access to watch the most recent Deep Dive Workshop recording for each individual session on demand. That way you can still get the valuable content at the time you’re able to watch and learn. This also ensures you can watch a session more than once if you want to reference a specific topic or question.

Are the om-demand recordings hellpful if I can't attend live?

Absolutely. The on-demand sessions provide another way to learn the material. We find students consume Deep Dive Workshops in a variety of ways - live classes only, on-demand sessions only, or attend the live classes and then watch the recordings of one or more of the topics they are struggling with the most. The on-demand versions also allow you to pause as needed to take notes and dial in your learning.
