This course will review both proposed and issued guidance related to audit and attestation standards. Topics of discussion will include the newest proposals, including those related to improving quality management for CPA firms.

This course will describe how gender inequality appears in the corporate world, including discussion of pay gaps, recruitment norms, and unfair treatment in the office. It will review both the causes of gender inequality and the positive impact of achieving gender equality, and focus on ways to improve gender equality in a corporate setting.

This course will provide an overview of foundations of ethical behavior and independence rules as set by the AICPA, SEC and PCAOB. The majority of the course will focus on ethical foundations and current examples of unethical behavior in a professional setting and the negative consequences of such behavior. It will also demonstrate the positive impact of ethical behavior on company performance.

Learn about recent and current developments related to proposed and newly issued accounting standards from the Financial Accounting Standards Board. This course will also highlight recent developments within the SEC, and recent topics of interest including environmental, social, and governance reporting.
