What inspired you to become an accountant and choose to pursue your CPA license?
My dad inspired me, and with Professor Wade as my mentor, I passed all four parts of the CPA Exam and completed the Masters of Accountancy program with a 3.96 GPA.
What advice do you have for individuals who are hoping to work in the accounting world?
Be disciplined in your accounting studies, but have fun. A strong willingness to learn, combined with great social skills will take you far.
If you had an extra 10 hours a week, what would you do?
I'd teach accounting and CPA topics to students. I'd love the opportunity to share my career journey with CPA candidates and college students. I'd also work out and travel more!
