Mario Perez

Mario Perez, a faculty member at the University of Miami School of Business since 2006, teaches financial accounting, managerial accounting and introduction to taxation. Mario is the Lead Faculty for the Becker CPA Review in South Florida and is ranked as one of the highest instructors in the nation. Mario graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting in 1999. He later completed his Masters of Science in Taxation from Florida International University in 2001. After graduating with his bachelor’s degree, Mario worked for ExxonMobil as the Senior Accountant responsible for monthly financial reporting for all operations in Bermuda and Jamaica. He worked for ExxonMobil from 1999 to 2004. Since leaving ExxonMobil, he has spent most of his time doing consulting work, tax planning and tax preparation.
