We've received a gift from a donor and are providing 440 scholarships to Becker Academy's Financial Accounting Foundations 1 (FAF1) course. FAF1 is designed for students who may need a refresh or have gaps in fundamental financial accounting knowledge prior to begin studying for the FAR section of the CPA Exam.
Step One: Take Becker's FREE Diagnostic Test
Our free, 30-question diagnostic tests your skills in foundational financial accounting concepts. After completing the diagnostic, you will receive a score that determines your readiness to begin studying for FAR. Your diagnostic score is a required component of the application below, so be sure to complete this step first.
Take the free FAF1 diagnostic by following these steps:

- Click "Register Now" to create a free account; OR login if you already have a Becker Academy or becker.com account
- After registering, login at academy.becker.com
- After setting up your profile, on the Becker Academy homepage, click "Learn More" on the FAF1 product card
- Click on "Start Diagnostic" and complete the short 30-question diagnostic

This self-paced course takes students through the full accounting cycle with concept videos, practice questions, and a capstone exercise, ensuring you have a strong understanding of foundational concepts. Upon completion, you’ll take a post-assessment that determines your progress in the course and your readiness for FAR.
