Learning objectives
  • Create a new QuickBooks Online company file
  • Create core lists, including the chart of accounts, products and services, customers, vendors, and bank or credit card accounts.
  • Select the correct QuickBooks form for each business event: invoice, sales receipt, receive payment, bank deposit, expense, check, bill, or pay bills
  • Record customer and vendor transactions
  • Reconcile bank and credit card activity by uploading or connecting accounts, reviewing downloaded transactions, and applying bank rules
  • Identify QuickBooks reports to validate transaction completeness and support review, audit preparation, and management analysis
