Auditing Standards Board (ASB)
A senior committee formed by the AICPA to oversee auditing, attestation, and quality control applicable to the performance and issuance of audit and attestation reports for non-issuers. The ASB accomplishes this mission by developing and communicating standards and guidance to audit practitioners (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, or GAAS).
