Common Size Financial Statements

 

  1. Restated financial statements in which each balance sheet component is expressed as a percentage of total assets, and each income statement component is expressed as a percentage of total revenue. Financial statements used for comparison between firms. A common-size income statement shows all amounts as a percent of revenue. A common-size balance sheet shows all values as a percent of total assets.
