Fifty-one of 55 2013 Elijah Watt Sells Award Winners Prepared for the CPA Exam with Becker Professional Education
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., (May 27, 2014) – Becker Professional Education, a global leader in professional education and a part of DeVry Education Group, today announced that 51 of the 55 winners of the 2013 Elijah Watt Sells Award prepared with Becker’s CPA Exam Review. Since the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) began naming award recipients in 2005, 90 percent of the winners have prepared for the exam with Becker’s CPA Exam Review.
The prestigious award, named after CPA pioneer Elijah Watt Sells, is presented to candidates who earned a cumulative average score above 95.50 across all four sections of the Uniform CPA Examination and passed all four sections on their first attempt. More than 94,000 candidates sat for the exam in 2013, but only 55 met the criteria to receive the Elijah Watt Sells Award.
